This policy explains how billing periods work, how to cancel, what happens afterwards, and when we may suspend or close an account. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
1. Billing periods and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Monthly plans renew every month on the anniversary of the day you subscribed.
- Annual plans are billed for the full year in advance and renew every year on the anniversary.
We charge your card on the renewal date and send a receipt to your account email each time.
Invoiced Enterprise accounts. Where your order form provides for invoicing, we invoice on the schedule it sets, and payment terms are those in the order form or, if it is silent, thirty (30) days from the invoice date. Renewal, term and notice periods for an invoiced account are governed by the order form, which prevails over sections 1, 4 and 5 of this policy.
We send Enterprise customers a reminder 30 days before renewal. We do not send a reminder before a monthly renewal, so if you are unsure of your renewal date it is shown in your billing settings.
2. The free trial
The trial runs for seven days with one connected brand and 250 credits. No card is required, so nothing is charged when it ends. At the end of the trial your access ends unless you choose a paid plan. Nothing converts to a paid plan automatically.
3. How to cancel
Cancel yourself, in the app, at any time: Settings, then Billing, then Cancel subscription. It takes effect immediately as a cancellation instruction and no further charges are made.
If you cannot reach the setting, email info@coretas.ai from your account email address and we will process it. A cancellation by email takes effect on the date we receive it.
Invoiced Enterprise accounts cancel by giving written notice on the terms in the order form, not through the in-app setting. Fees already invoiced for the current term remain payable.
4. What happens when you cancel
You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling a monthly plan mid-month leaves your access running to the end of that month. Cancelling an annual plan leaves your access running to the end of the annual term.
There is no pro-rata refund for the remainder of the period. See the Refund Policy.
You may resubscribe at any time. Pricing at that point is our then-current pricing.
5. Downgrades and plan changes
- Upgrade. Takes effect immediately. We charge the difference for the remainder of the current period.
- Downgrade. Takes effect at the start of your next period. You keep the higher plan's features until then, and no refund is issued for the difference.
- Monthly to annual. Takes effect immediately, with the annual term starting on the date of the change.
- Annual to monthly. Takes effect at the end of the annual term.
6. What happens to your connections and data
When your subscription ends, whether by cancellation, expiry or termination:
- Access ends at the end of your final paid period.
- Advertising account connections are revoked. We stop reading from your accounts and our access tokens are invalidated. Campaigns already live in your advertising accounts are unaffected and continue to run. They are yours, and they remain your responsibility. If you want them paused, pause them in the platform they run on.
- Export window. For 30 days after access ends you may request an export of your Coretas data by emailing info@coretas.ai.
- Deletion. We delete or de-identify your Customer Data within 90 days of the end of the export window, except where we must retain records by law or need limited billing records for accounting and tax. Backups are purged on their normal cycle. We may change these periods at any time and without prior notice, subject to any minimum the law requires.
Details are in the Privacy Statement.
7. Failed payments and overdue invoices
Card payments. If a payment fails we let you know by email, and Coretas features are unavailable until you update your payment details. Your data and your existing plans are not deleted while you sort it out. Updating a valid payment method restores access as soon as the payment clears.
Invoices. If an invoice is not paid by its due date we will chase it. If it remains unpaid 10 days past the due date we may suspend access to the account. Overdue amounts may carry interest as set out in section 6 of the Terms of Use.
Suspension does not cancel your subscription or waive the fees due, and access resumes once the balance clears. If an account stays unpaid for 30 days after suspension we may close it, and section 6 applies. Where an invoice is disputed in good faith, tell us in writing before the due date with your reason, pay the undisputed part, and we will not suspend over the disputed amount while we work it out.
8. Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or close your account:
- Immediately, if you breach the Acceptable Use Policy, if your use threatens the security or stability of the platform, if your use puts our access to a third-party advertising platform at risk, if we are required to by law or by an advertising platform, or if we reasonably suspect fraud.
- After notice, for non-payment as described in section 7.
- For convenience, for a free account, a trial or a program account, at any time.
- At the end of a period, for a paid subscription, with at least 30 days' notice before the renewal date.
Where we close a paid account for convenience, we refund any fees you have paid for a period after the closure date.
9. Design partners and Enterprise engagements
Design partner access ends as described in the Design Partner Policy. Paid early access and Enterprise engagements are governed by the order form or agreement signed for them, which prevails over this policy where the two differ.
10. Inactive free accounts
We may close a free account with no sign-in for 12 months, after giving at least 14 days' notice to the account email address.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. Unless the law, or an agreement we have signed with you, requires otherwise, a change takes effect as soon as we post it here, without prior notice to you, and the version on this page is the version that applies. We recommend checking this page from time to time. Prior versions are available on request from info@coretas.ai.
Material changes to the Terms of Use themselves follow the notice process in section 19 of those Terms.
